This week we spent time talking about Household chores and having responsibility to help around the house. Mother Goose Time Had a lot of activities this week talking different responsibilities. The kids talked about how they could help and the we created charts to remind us each what our household charts are.
One particular chore the kids decided take on was taking care of the animals. We have 8 chickens and 1 cat at home. We talked about how important it is to clean up after them and how we take care of the house by cleaning up after their messes.
I modeled what proper care looks like and the kids decided they were going to do it each day. They were going to feed, water and clean up after the animals. They are super excited.
