Emma is 2 months old!

Emma is 2 months old. 

Yesterday, she had her 2 month well check up

She got her first set of shots and she was not a happy camper. It was a shocker to me because my daughter, Joslyn, never cried. But, my poor little baby did not like shots and she screamed at the top of her lungs. She got 3 boo boos. 

The Dr said she is a very tall baby and no wonder since her daddy is 6'8! 

Age: 2 months

Height: 24.25 inches 97%

Weight: 10lbs 8oz, 50%

Milestones: Emma is smiling now! She is also very alert and loves looking at everything! She can also hold her head of very well and can sit in her bumbo for a few minutes! The other day she held on to her toys and when we placed her under her play mat she would kick and touch her toys. Tummy time is a struggle. She hates it, I always say she is so full of complaints when she is on her tummy because all I hear is "uh uh uh uh." When you speak to her she will also coo back at you with a huge smile. I like to tell her the reason daddy is so skinny is because the doctors made us walk all over the hospital trying to get her out of my belly because she loved mommy's tummy. She is eating 4oz right now almost every two hours during the day. She never spits up and she loves her milk. She is my little chunky monkey. Again, another big difference between her and Joslyn. Joslyn would spit up everything she ate. She is such a good little sleeper! She sleeps all the way through the night. From about 10pm to 4:30am. Then she wakes up eats and goes straight back to sleep.  Also, I swear when I change her diaper she lifts her legs for me every time. (I may be crazy, but its so darn cute not to not believe it). 

This is her favorite chair that I call her "Lazy Boy"
