What better way to show we appreciate our teachers by giving them a gift before and after the school year. We decided that during Meet the Teacher tomorrow we are going to give the girl's teachers a gift they created to start off the school year. It was cheap and easy to make which makes this mommy (& step-mommy) happy =) Plus the teacher can have a cute pen holder to sit on their desk. Very cute!
Supplies needed-
3 pens for each pot (bought at dollar store)
colorful flowers (dollar store)
Paints (any, we used some that was laying around the house)
decorative sand or beads (dollar store)
tape (used what was around the house)
paintbrushes (used what was around house)
flower pots (Joanns for 99 cents)
Total cost per gift= $3 (what a fun cheap gift!!)
The girls put their personalized touch to the flower pots by painting them all different colors.
When they dried, I put sand in them and attached flowers to the pens with tape and put them in the flower pot
Our finished products!!
