Why Homeschool?

This year my family and I are taking a new adventure in the world of homeschooling. I quit my job and brought my kids home. It was something that was on the back of my mind in my heart for a very long time but I just never took the step to do it. It was mostly fear of failing, of what other people would think of me and if I’d really be happy. My husband looked at me one night and said, “are you going to regret not homeschooling”. That was my answer. I was tired. I was tired of not spending enough time with my children and my husband. I was always working and my focus was not my family. I live for my family. My family is everything. Why I wasn’t putting my time and energy into something that was my everything is beyond me. But I feel like this past year I woke up and I realized where I really need to be. So from here on out I’m going to devote my life to educating my children in my home with the values that I value. I’ve spent months researching and finding the right things and items and resources that will help me on this new journey with my family. I’m so grateful that I found a program for my son that is not only engaging but it needs all of the components that my preschooler needs. It’s comprehensive it’s easy to follow and it’s fun. Since we took this new adventure we are outside more, we are discovering more, we are building a relationship and getting closer. That my main purpose .  We use Mother Goose time for preschool curriculum each day. We love it because it’s comprehensive and it has everything that I need including the assessment tools, the lesson plans and the materials especially. I’m not finding myself going out and looking for items that I need to teach the lesson.  It’s all there for you. It really helps with my sanity. When I’m homeschooling three children. One in homeschool, one in first grade and a preschooler. Mother Goose Time really does the job for me It really makes My life easier.

There is a ton of resources out there and it can become so overwhelming and so confusing on  which Curriculum is the best fit for you and your family. I spent months researching and decide what I needed for my family. I wanted something that wasn’t going to break the bank but was comprehensive and included all parts that I needed. It took a lot of praying and sole searching. But I’m confident that another Goose Time fulfilled my list of wants in a program.

Through the next few months I am going to share the best parts of it and take you along for our journey.
